Even since he and Emily Maynard broke up following his time as “The Bachelor,” Brad Womack has become more or less a ghost when it comes to the public eye. More so than perhaps any other former star or contestant, the only two-time leading man has chosen to live a largely private life running his bars out of Austin (along with a new one opening in Houston).
For the first time on this subject, Brad spoke out to an ABC affiliate while promoting his new establishment the Dogwood, and had a rather simple message in the process — even though he has “no interest” whatsoever in watching his ex-fiancee find love, does wish her the best:
“All I’ll say, she is a h–l of a woman. I hope it works out. You know, I’m happy, I hope she’s happy.”
Brad also said that he felt as though he “dodged a bullet” with the relationship — which seems more to be a comment on his readiness to be a father and handle the public eye more so than his actual feelings about Emily, who he has nothing but nice things to say about.
When it comes to his own status, Brad claims that he is still single, and that he has really only went on one date in the past year due to his busy schedule working on his various establishments.
What do you think about some of Brad’s comments, and do you really think he will be able to stay away from watching Emily’s season?
