‘America’s Next Top Model’: Jay Manuel, J. Alexander’s replacements revealed

The show has moved to Fridays.

Do you want to know just who is replacing some of your favorites on “America’s Next Top Model” next season? Well, we now have the official answer for you courtesy of The CW’s upfront presentation.

In addition to host / executive producer Tyra Banks, PR maven Kelly Cutrone (who has not exactly fallen into favor with many show fans) will be returning — in addition, male model Rob Evans will be joining the judging panel as a replacement seemingly for photographer Nigel Barker.

Meanwhile, Johnny Wujek (famous for his work with Katy Perry) will be on board the show in the Jay Manuel “creative consultant” role — meaning that he will help design the photo shoots and support the models as they try to make names for themselves in the industry.

In addition to the show moving to a dangerous time (in Friday nights), the “College Edition” is also going to introduce some sort of interactive component where fans can get involved in the series. It’s unclear how this will work just yet, but the thinking her is obvious — if more fans can get invested in what is going on, maybe a few more will actually start to watch again. (Ratings for this “British Invasion” season are down dramatically from the spring 2011 installment.)

Do you think there is anything that can save this show at this point?
