Ratings: ‘NCIS’ finale rises; ‘Glee’ down; ‘Cougar Town’ hits low

#1 for the night.

There was quite a bit happening across the board on Tuesday night, and with that there were also plenty of ratings winners and losers. The biggest winner? As per usual, the honor goes to CBS.

CBS – The season finale of “NCIS” ended up winning the night with a 3.5 rating in the 18-49 demographic, which is up from last week’s 3.1. Meanwhile, the two-hour finale for “NCIS: Los Angeles” scored a 3.0 rating, which is even with last week’s show.

NBC – “America’s Got Talent” only dropped three-tenths from its premiere, and its 3.4 rating ended up setting a season high for the network for that timeslot. Meanwhile, the finale for “Fashion Star” posted a mediocre 1.6.

Fox – The network aired two episodes of “Glee,” and they were each down versus last week in posting a 2.4 and 2.5 rating.

ABC – Despite earning a season 4 renewal on TBS, “Cougar Town” only scored a 1.0 rating for each of its two half-hour episodes. The “Dancing with the Stars” results show earned a 2.2 rating (but over 12 million viewers), while the season finale of “Private Practice” posted a 1.8.

The CW – While the season finale of “90210” dropped to a 0.5 rating, “The L.A. Complex” continued to be woeful with a 0.2.
