There are still several weeks of “Game of Thrones” to go until the season finale airs on June 3 … but you don’t have to wait to get at least a brief teaser of what to expect.
HBO released the following synopsis for the episode (entitled “Valar Moghulis”) in a press release on Tuesday — though it is still rather vague on specific details:
“As Theon (Alfie Allen) stirs his men to action, Luwin (Donald Sumpter) offers some final advice. Brienne (Gwendolyn Christie) silences Jaime; Arya (Maisie Williams) receives a gift from Jaqen (Tom Wlaschiha); Dany (Emilia Clarke) goes to a strange place; and Jon (Kit Harington) proves himself to Qhorin (Simon Armstrong).”
There are some characters listed in this description that we have not yet met, but it does at least show that Jamie Lannister is going to somehow find a way to survive his current prison for the time being; the same can also be said for Jon Snow, who was captured by the Wildings after he fell victim to Ygritte’s charms and decided to let her live and follow her through the icy tundra.
There are still two more May episode of “Thrones” to air before we arrive at this finale, so stay tuned for a full preview of Sunday night’s installment a little later in the week.
