It was random, and that is probably why this ended up being so entertaining. While on “The Today Show” Wednesday morning to promote his new movie “Crazy, Stupid, Love,” actor Ryan Gosling decided that he was going to try and pick up chief weatherman Al Roker into the air after a running start. This took a few tries to actually work out perfectly, but in the end Roker was sent flying — and pretty much everyone involved had a good laugh.
Gosling’s movie has been able to build up a good deal of buzz over the past few weeks, and for good reason. It marks Steve Carell’s first movie release since filming “The Office” (though he filmed it before the show’s grand finale), and it also features rising star Emma Stone in a supporting role as Gosling’s love interest.
Gosling and Carell both are going to be making the publicity rounds for some time — “Crazy, Stupid, Love” does not debut in wide release until a week from Friday. You can check out video of the moment below.
