ABC fall schedule: ‘Revenge,’ ‘Happy Endings’ moved to new nights

Good moves?

ABC is the third network to announce their full schedule for the fall — and based on what we are seeing now, their overall lineup looks to be both smart and strong.

Among some of the major moves include “Revenge” on Sundays (a nice move, though we would have swapped it and “666 Park Avenue” around since the latter show seems like a better fit following “Once Upon a Time”), “Happy Endings” teaming with “Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23” (which seems to fit both shows better than airing after “Modern Family” in terms of tone), and the network bringing back a bit of “TGIF” with “Last Man Standing” getting a chance on Friday nights.

8:00 p.m. Eastern – “Dancing with the Stars” / “The Bachelor”
10 – “Castle”

8 – “Dancing with the Stars” results
9 – “Happy Endings”
9:30 – “Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23”
10 – “Private Practice”

In January after “Dancing” ends:
8 – “How to Live with your Parents for the Rest of Your Life” (new show)
8:30 – “The Family Tools” (new show)

8 – “The Middle”
8:30 – “Suburgatory”
9 – “Modern Family”
9:30 – “The Neighbors” (new show)
10 – “Nashville” (new show)

8 – “Last Resort” (new show)
9 – “Grey’s Anatomy”
10 – “Scandal”

8 – “Shark Tank”
9 – “Primetime: What Would You Do?”
10 – “20/20”

In November
8 – “Last Man Standing”
8:30 – “Malibu Country” (new show)
9 – “Shark Tank”
10 – “Primetime: What Would You Do?”

7 – “America’s Funniest Home Videos”
8 – “Once Upon a Time”
9 – “Revenge”
10 – “666 Park Avenue” (new show)

Coming up at midseason are new drama “Mistresses” and “Red Widow,” season 3 of “Body of Proof,” and the return of “Wife Swap.”

Do you think ABC has a schedule here that is pretty balanced, and do you think “Revenge” will be helped or hurt in its move to Sundays?
