Nobody knows what will happen to Jon Snow. Apparently the end of season 5 is up to date with the books when it comes to dead and alive characters. If Jon Snow lives or not its up to GRRM to tell us in the next book.

Stoneheart is Stonheart. If they want to use her then use Michelle Fairly. I think her appearance falls heavily on whether GRRM uses her as an important character in Winds.

Major potential spoiler alert.

You all seem to forget that Jon is warg. That will allow him to return to the series without Kit returning since he will embody someone else.

Also take a look at the theory concerning Jon Snow and his origin. In Game of Thrones Eddard Stark tells the tale about his encounter with the Kingsguard at the bottom of the tower where his sister is allegedly kept prisoner. It is a major gap in the story why the Kingsguard is there and it is never explained. Along with Eddard only Howland Reed survives – so what you really should be looking for is if he enters season six. If he does it will add to the theory (and I actually thought this out myself, but I can tell that others did the same) that Jon Snow was not Eddard Starks bastard – but the offspring of the affair between Lyanna Stark and Rhaegar Targaryen – the Stark/Targaryen child that will unite the two families. He is Azor Ahai ans one of the two companions that will ride one of the Dragons when they reach Westeros.

So he’ll return, I’ll bet you.

I have a friend who is playing a major role in season 6 and he did scenes with kit Harrington so I don’t think this is the last we see of Jon snow ?
