Mrs. Carter – Is Brandi Glanville really still fueling the fires of a feud with LeAnn Rimes?
As you may have heard by now, an interview Glanville gave to Australia’s NW HQ Magazine has caused all sorts of crazy headlines Monday — mostly due to a quote that she wanted to “kill” Rimes after she saw her playing with one of her children that she had with her ex-husband Eddie Cibrian. Did the cast member from “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” really say this? Ultimately, the answer is both yes and no.
In a new post series of posts on Twitter after the story went viral, Glanville tried her best to clarify some of the points from the interview that she feels were blown out of proportion — in particular that she never actually had any plans to physically harm the country star following her affair with Cibrian even if part of her wanted to out of rage:
“All the articles online are incorrect and I will now correct them … THE 1ST TIME I saw my THEN 2 n a half yr old Jake sit n LR’s lap as I walked on the soccer field my blood was boil n & I wanted to hurt her … All it means is the first time u see ur baby in someone elses lap, TRUST me u will think all sorts of nutty thots. Clearly I didn’t act on [them]”
Brandi is not the first (and certainly not the last) person to think or say these sorts of things out of anger when confronted with the kind of situation Glanville has dealt with – so why is it such a big deal when Brandi says it? Is it because she is in the public eye? I can’t even count the number of girlfriends that have cried on my shoulder threatening to do whatever terrible things to the person that did them wrong, but just like Brandi, no one ever has. So the real question we need to ask is: are these kinds of statements all part of the break up/healing process that we all go through?
