Does Aubrey O’Day have a reason to be upset following the first part of “The Celebrity Apprentice” finale? It ultimately depends on how you look at it. While she was certainly a polarizing part of the competition this season, she also was successful in a good many tasks — and even when she did lose, she at least did more to try and help her team win than some of the other competitors.
With all of this in mind, it probably shouldn’t come as much of a surprise to anyone at all that Aubrey believes that she should have won this season. Speaking to Entertainment Weekly in a new interview, she answers a question about whether or not she should have been in the finale by saying the following:
“Absolutely. I mean, just in watching last night when Trump asked us all why, I was the only one out of the three of us to say that I was the strongest player there. I mean, it’s a confidence factor, it’s just a fact. I worked the hardest, I had the most ideas, and the thing about this show is it’s not a show about building teams. It’s not a show about a team winning. It’s a show about one person winning. It’s a show about one person being able to be the most effective leader, and you know, there is no I in team, but there is an I in leadership, and that is what this show is about.”
In what should come as no surprise considering some of her tension with Arsenio Hall throughout the run of the show, Aubrey also said that she is rooting for Clay Aiken to win the whole competition, and feels that at this point in the final task he is the more worthy candidate to win the title courtesy of Donald Trump.
Do you think that Aubrey has a legitimate complaint when it comes to the final two?
