Before “The Bachelorette” premieres on Monday night, we now have an extended look just at what you can expect from the season. Emily Maynard is now front and center, and there are all sorts of questions worth asking. Can the show’s first leading lady who is also a mom handle some of the drama in the same way as in the past? Based on how she handles some of the men on the show this season, that seems to not be the case.
While on the surface Emily seems to be a sweet, caring woman, the preview teaches us one thing above all else — make her angry, and she will make you regret it. There is already drama about one of the men allegedly calling her daughter Ricki “baggage,” and that sets off a lightning storm among everyone associated with the show.
In the midst of the fight, though, there are also plenty of loving moments — including some kisses, country music concerts, exotic locales (mostly in Europe), and some moments for adrenaline junkies. Even though Emily may be a mom, this looks still to be the same sort of “Bachelorette” season that you would expect the franchise to deliver.
Stay tuned — we’ll have a full review for the season premiere shortly after it airs!
