As a part of the Fox upfront presentation Monday morning, network programming head Kevin Reilly took part in a conference call with reporters — and with that in mind, we have some of the first details now coming out about the fourth season of “Glee.”
Reilly claims that the show will focus primarily on a small group of graduating seniors — including Lea Michele’s Rachel and Chris Colfer’s Kurt — while also still keeping McKinley High very much in mind. Sound complicated yet? Add to it some guest stars — including Sarah Jessica Parker for an episode and Kate Hudson for a six-week arc — and it’s fair to say that we could be in for one crazy year.
As previously reported, “Glee” is going to be moving to Thursdays next season to make way for a comedy block on Tuesday nights — in addition, this timeslot will give the show an opportunity to try and capitalize on “The X Factor” (and later “American Idol”) as a lead-in so that it can continue to pull some strong ratings moving forward.
As for who some of the other graduating seniors to be featured on the show will be, stay tuned — some more details will be made available in the coming weeks.
