‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ review: Teresa Giudice’s ‘counseling session’

More fighting? Definitely.

In case you didn’t know before going into Sunday night’s new episode of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey,” Teresa Giudice and her brother Joe Gorga don’t exactly have the best relationship ever. Just how bad is it? Let’s just say that a children’s pool party could not even cause peace between the two parties.

The party was meant to be a way to celebrate school ending for Kathy Wakile’s children, but there were really few kids there since nobody really wanted to subject them to what exactly was going to go down. At Rich’s suggestion, Teresa and Joe decided to sit down for a bit of a one-on-one, which ended up becoming all about people being on the defensive faster than we could have ever imagined. Joe was understandably upset about Teresa saying that Melissa Gorga would leave him for a wealthier man; however, Teresa didn’t really take the blame for anything, and instead ended up getting angry about the fact that Joe told Melissa what she said. (Really?)

Basically, Teresa continued to cast the blame on Melissa for the fracture in the relationship, and by the end of this conversation nothing was accomplished really at all. As a matter of fact, you could say now that tension is worse than ever between the siblings. Why can’t they just be like the Manzos, and have most of their storyline be about buying Jaguars? Instead, it looks like this is what we are going to be subjected to for most of the season.

On a different note, there was the beginning of some drama this week between Teresa and Jacqueline Laurita, as on this occasion the lightning rod of this season wanted Jacqueline to pick sides in the massive feud. You could tell that Jacqueline understandably didn’t want to — and trust us when we say that the worst is definitely still to come here when it comes to these two.

Who do you think is more in the wrong at the moment when it comes to the family feud — Teresa, or her brother?
