OK, I agree that Sam Heughan is great as Jamie in Highlander and Black Jack is very superb in Highlander as the villain British officer, but my vote is for Jamie Dornan as Paul Spector. As Spector, Dornan absolutely stepped out of mediocrity (as in roles where he previously appeared in Once Upon a Time and other very ordinary movie parts, including …hate to say it…Fifty Shades of Grey, where I loved him. But his portrayal of Paul Spector seems (to this uneducated critic) to be absolutely spot on! He’s front and center outstanding. Dornan WAS Paul Spector. He wasn’t just acting a role. He brought Spector to life. He was completely believable… AND CREEPY! In my opinion, Dornan has become an actor; tried and true. Now, he’s capable of being any character, any part, whatever is necessary. We can forget he used to be a Calvin Klein model because now he is whomever he portrays.

Jamie Dornan performance of Paul Spector is chilling and intriguing to watch unfold! We know from the beginning who the killer is, it’s not who did, we follow Paul Spector has husband, father, grief counselor, and serial killer! Stella is the cop hot on his trail to stop him in a cat and mouse game! Her need to stop him and his need to kill! Jamie actually made me sympathize for his character just a bit! When Stella and Paul come face to face was such a fantastic moment! I don’t know if Paul Spector loves at all but Jamie made me believe if there is love in him at all he loves his daughter in maybe the only time you know she matter’s to him! We don’t know everything about Spector but Jamie’s performance pulls you in to find out more! He is a killer but his character has layers! How can someone as Spector seem normal but be so awful! The script is gripping and provoking in the best way! Jamie’s portrayal is chilling and calming in a truly riveting way! Jamie is deserving of a nomination and a win, he fantastic as Spector! Can’t wait to see Season 3, to see how it ends!

Since I love The Fall will have to say Jamie Dornan. He did a wonderful job freaking me out as Paul Spector.

Jamie’s acting was fascinating in The Fall…He’s one of the best actors I’ve ever enjoyed watching..Hoping he gets what he deserves in his upcoming projects.

I cannot agree with that comment – he was SO good in The Fall. To portray someone like Paul Spectre must be hugely challenging and he did it remarkably well. He has won awards for this role already. The scene in which Stella interviews him in the second series was 20 minutes long and was done in one take. That is amazing. Gillian Anderson has praised his performance – and she is a hard one to please! It seems you, MV, are the one out of step! For what it’s worth I don’t think the film of FSoG was such a shocker in either content or talent. A good job was made, considering the source material. On watching it for the second time, the nuances of JD’s portrayal of CG is not so bad. That character develops more in the second part of the trilogy – it will be interesting to see how that adapts to the screen.
