I agree – The Voice gave us Sawyer. He is one of the BEST things that has happened to the Voice. My 75 year old Mother and myself missed seeing him on TV this week. We hope to hear his voice again soon! He is really something very special. I like the fact that he does not want to move from the Farm. He just turned 16 – the farm is his home.

These articles always go back to how the voice has not created a superstar like Kelly or Carrie. No show has produced stars like these two not even Idol. It is not up to the Voice to make anyone a star. Sawyer will get a team from the record company to promote him. It is up to Sawyer to work extremely hard and do everything that is necessary to succeed. Cassadee Pope is a good example of doing what is necessary. She went right to the studio to co-write her album (debuted at #9 on Itunes and #1 Country) Did a radio tour for four months to get air time, first single went platinum, made the new faces of country chosen by country radio stations, nominated for several awards and won CMT Breakthrough Video of the Year and is touring and writing nonstop as of today. She is well respected by her fellow country artists. Danielle B has gone the same route. It’s time these writers do a little research on the former artists. Check out their web sites and you will see how hard these two are working.

I loved the Voice this season because they gave us Sawyer. Hopefully they will promote him well! If the Voice does all the right things this kid could become their first superstar!
