NBC fall schedule: ‘Community’ moved; ‘The Biggest Loser’ delayed

NBC unveiled their full schedule for the fall on Sunday afternoon — and while there are some expected moves (including putting “The Voice” on Monday nights), there are certainly also some surprises.

For example, the network is airing comedy four days of the week, has “The Voice” competing directly against “Glee” on Tuesdays, and also somehow seems to think that a show with a young viewership like “Community” will somehow do well on Friday nights. We’re also stunned to see “Rock Center with Brian Williams” on here, even though “The Biggest Loser” has been held back until midseason along with season 2 of “Smash.” (We also don’t understand shortening “The Celebrity Apprentice” when it is probably the only one of their reality shows that should be two hours long.)

8:00 p.m. – “The Voice”
10 – “Revolution” (new show)

8 – “The Voice”
9 – “Go On” (new show)
9:30 – “The New Normal” (new show)
10 – “Parenthood”

8 – “Animal Practice” (new show)
8:30 – “Guys with Kids” (new show)
9 – “Law & Order: SVU”
10 – “Chicago Fire” (new show)

8 – “30 Rock”
8:30 – “Up All Night”
9 – “The Office”
9:30 – “Parks and Recreation”
10 – “Rock Center with Brian Williams”

8 – “Whitney”
8:30 – “Community”
9 – “Grimm”
10-11 – “Dateline NBC”

Encore programming

Football coverage until winter

SUNDAY (Post-football/Winter 2013)
8 – “Fashion Star”
9 – “The Celebrity Apprentice”
10 – “Do No Harm” (new show)

Some other shows returning for midseason include “Betty White’s Off Their Rockers,” and some new dramas such as “Hannibal.”

What is the most surprising part of this schedule to you?
