‘Saturday Night Live’ finale: Mick Jagger to be joined by Foo Fighters

Jagger will have company.

While Will Ferrell is lighting up the stage this week on “Saturday Night Live,” we already have a teaser when it comes to next week’s show — some famous bands who will be joining Mick Jagger on the show.

According to some new reports, both Foo Fighters and Arcade Fire — who were each inspired by Jagger on some level — will be on board to help the Rolling Stones frontman with some of his performances. It’s currently unclear just what will be performed on the show, but the general expectation is that Jagger will help to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Stones coming together by tackling some of his biggest songs.

While “SNL” is likely to be turned into a music festival for much of the week, Jagger will also be the host and will take part in some comedy sketches — though it is still unclear how that will turn out.

Stay tuned over this coming week — we will have more coverage of Mick’s “SNL” debut as it breaks!
