I'd like to get it declared DONE before they start doing any of the 13 episodes. It's a disgrace that the combined salaries per episode of Debra Messing, Melissa Joan Hart and Josh Lucas are basically the same as the combined salaries(per episode) of iCE-T, Kelli Giddish, Danny Pino, Raul Esparza and Peter Scanavino of Law & Order SVU. Every name I mentioned from SVU was kept out of 6-8 episodes this season(NBC's decision) while everyone from Laura was paid for every episode. Nobody from Laura is taking a pay cut for the 13 episodes coming this fall, while NBC pushed Danny Pino out the door. They wouldn't offer him a new deal in the range of what Messing($200,000+ per episode) or Hart(about $175,000 per episode) are being paid after doing SVU for 4 years at a lot less. Debra Messing must have a lot of friends at NBC, because her show should have been cancelled after 13 episodes. Maybe if I just keep pummeling Laura all summer long, NBC will get fed up and end it.

IMO This show is so cheesy I gave it 9 episodes but was totally turned off Debra Messing is the only reason I think the show was given another chance I like Debra Messing but this show sucks It ain't nothing fresh about it The writing is so bland they did not make the characters interesting enough for me to care about them And they have cameos from people who mostly everybody long forgotten with the exception of Erci Mccormack I hope the new shows do well and kick MOL out of it timeslot that could have gone to a better show

That makes one of you. I thought that CBS was going to have the worst renewal of the season with MADAM SECRETARY. Then NBC renewed this. I never liked Will and Grace, I thought Perception was ridiculous, and the fact that this was the only show that NBC renewed(for 13 episodes) tells you about what everyone thought of the new NBC series that debuted in 2014-15. I suggest you enjoy this as much as possible next season, because I doubt that there will be another 9 episodes. The fact that NBC is paying Debra Messing over $200,000+ per episode for this debacle but wouldn't offer Danny Pino from SVU anywhere near that after his 4 year contract expired is mind blowing.

It's worse than a PITY renewal. To bring this show back for another 13 episodes with Debra bringing in over $200,000+ per episode while not offering Danny Pino anything close to that after 4 seasons on SVU is despicable. once again, NBC keeps putting money in all the wrong places or with all the wrong people. Is anybody being fired for the debacle that was the 2014-15 television season on NBC? So far, the answer is NO, and I don't think that there will be. What a great place to work. You can totally screw up and not have to take responsibility.

It seems like the NBC execs really don't have much confidence in their choice to renew this show I agree with everybody who says it's a pity renewal If they was so positive this show was such a hit they would order more episodes I mean come on 13 episodes over a course of 9 months Why the hell did they even bother I feel this show is going to go down the toilet and one of these upcoming shows will more likely take it;s place

That is disheartening on so many levels. I adore this show, and I want
to see MORE of her family and Tony, not less. Screw the critics. It's
smart, it's funny, it's Debra Messing. And after the other half of Will
and Grace got cancelled this year (Perception) I'm sadder than ever.
This show had a bit of an awkward start to be sure, but it has grown
into its own beautifully over the last few weeks. I do hope the
mysteries get smarter but it no way do I want them overshadowing the
lovely intense look into this character's life.
