It was on twitter from him. And as said if it is not to be the last season it will certainly have a full 20+ episodes. Why repeat these silly rumours and upset the fanbase again?

With the rumors going around that season 8 would not be the last it does not make sense to have only 13 episodes and upset the fans. Again, it would appear that fans would get bored in the waiting for more episodes.
I am glad that the new show runners satisfied Stana that she would be facing new challenges, character and career development which should make for interesting, loving, humorous and exciting episodes.
