Is there any way that Luke could be working with Gibbs? Could Gibbs be wearing a bullet proof vest and Luke knew and only took body shots instead of hitting him in unprotected areas like face and neck. I’m wondering how he could side with the people who killed the only parents he knew. He seemed to truly be sorry that they were dead..

I have to believe that Mark Harmon will be back and therefore, Gibbs survives. By making myself believe he survives enables me to survive the long summer! I know, it’s a tv show, but it still hurts. I haven’t gotten over Agent Simon Donavan getting shot on the West Wing – how could I handle another death ??? I love this show and think the writing is remarkable in season 12. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed it!

Trying to come up with a word to describe the season finale. Suspense-less? Mimi Rogers was great it was good to see her. Never believed that Luke wasn’t still with the terrorists, everyone except for Gibbs seemed to know this even long gone Mike Franks. I liked the Elf Lord using his gaming skills to get to the hidden files. Can’t believe it took so long for Abby and Tim. to find the messages in the music. It is not exactly a new idea and with this being a global threat no one in the other agencies thought to check this out before? But in their defense if they were not working on that there wouldn’t be anything else for them to do in this episode. Ducky and Palmer put in brief appearances. I enjoyed Tony sitting at his desk. standing in front of the screen and handing Bishop the clicker and his big scene welcoming Tim back to the orange room. ( I really did like the last one.) The final scene with Gibbs getting shot looked like a done deal for him. How they could continue the show without him I don’t know but he could technically die on the operating table and be resurrected so it wouldn’t be a lie to say a major character died. Well that wraps up another season of NCIS.

If Mark Harmon was to leave the show then I hope they won’t kill him. For me, without Gibbs there won’t be NCIS anymore. He’s the spine of the show, as Michael Weatherly has said. Without him the show will not survive.
