In reply to lahela. You were right to have mentioned the "hard work" of Sam and Tobias. Reading the books now. Apprehensive about tuning in to see the Wentworth episode. Need to watch with friends and not alone.

If it goes as it does in the book & Diana is saying it does, we should see the rescue 1st, then what happened at Wentworth as flashback sequences as he tells Claire everything.
The Abbey scenes will be difficult too, since Jamie is still very damaged, but should end happily. Having said that, we all know how much Ron loves a good cliffhanger… LOL

In reply to Chris Koons. Yes, I assume one at Wentworth prison though and then the final one in the Abbey, don't you think? I was referring to the final episode which I assume will be after Wentworth but covers a bit of time frame. I certainly hope it will leave us where the book leaves us with a "satisfying" ending as Sam Hueghan has said.

Due to the brave commitment of the main actors in this episode I feel compelled to watch but will be dreading doing so. I know the images will mean some very bad sleepless nights thereafter. When I first read this part in the book I had a very bad time. Shaking and crying whilst reading then never getting the images out of my head for a long time.
I’ll be watching but with a large cushion to hide behind, a large box of hankies and some Whisky to dull the senses.
I have read this book four times now and still find Wentworth and some of the Abbey scenes difficult to read without pausing.

Although, I know I will cringe at the thought of our handsome, honrable Jamie being hurt, I am still going to watch, but perhaps look away at the beatings, but I am watching to supporrt Sam, Cait, The producers, writers, other cast, and Diana Galbadon. The series came to being for the fans and as a loyal fan I will watch this ep as will all my friends. We owe to thei hatd work of Sam and Tobias, it is in yhe books. If you love Outlandet, this part of Outlander.

I am dreading this episode. I could not watch as Jamie was beaten by Black Jack in an earlier episode. It was so brutal and disturbing. I have read the book and dread next week. I hope they do not show as much as the book describes. It will sicken me to see Jamie treated in that degrading manner. I am also wondering how the last part of the story can be shown in one episode. I want Season one to end on a happy note. Claire and Jamie’s love story has to survive as do both characters.
