Renewals: ‘Family Guy,’ ‘American Dad,’ ’30 Rock,’ and ‘Parenthood’

One more year.

There’s some breaking news concerning a number of shows being picked up for additional seasons — stay tuned, as we’ll have more here as soon as it becomes available.

“30 Rock” – NBC has finally confirmed that the comedy will indeed come back for a final season, which will consist of 13 episodes. There are rumors that both “Community” and “Parks and Recreation” could receive similar treatment, but nothing is confirmed as of yet.

“Parenthood” – Meanwhile, the drama will return to the network for a 15-episode season 4.  Like “30 Rock,” this move was long expected.

“Family Guy” and “American Dad” – On the Fox front, both animated series (per Deadline) have been renewed through the end of the 2013-14 season. Both shows were already set to be on the schedule for next year.
