‘Britain’s Got Talent’ results: Did Aquabatique or Hope Murphy survive?

Who is moving on?

After watching Thursday night’s performance episode of “Britain’s Got Talent,” it was pretty apparent from our viewpoint that it actually was one of the strongest shows yet. While there were a few duds, there was everything from brilliant dance groups, strong singers, and even a funny comic.

Outside of Ryan O’Shaughnessy (who seemed from this vantage point to be pretty close to a lock), we really didn’t have any idea just what was going to happen during this episode. With that in mind, we were on the edge of our seat more than we have been all week.

Britain’s choice – Ryan O’Shaughnessy. See? We told you! He not only went last on the show, but the voting public loves singers — especially one who has a memorable story and journey to the live shows.

The judges’ choice – At least we had some interesting drama here. We were a bit surprised to see Billy George in the top three, but were not as shocked to see Aquabatique. David Walliams chose the water act, while Alesha Dixon decided to vote for Billy. Amanda Holden selected Aquabatique, and Simon Cowell was again the deciding vote — and his vote for Aquabatique was enough to send them straight through to the final.

What do you think about some of the results, and were you surprised to see Billy George in the top three?
