Are you a fan of “Talking Dead” or “Mob Wives”? If so, we have some good news coming your way — both shows are coming back.
For “Talking Dead,” AMC has ordered 16 new episodes of the interview show, which is a companion to new episodes of “The Walking Dead” (which, conveniently enough, also has a 16-episode season coming up). Now, we just have to hope that the network will actually air the talk show this time directly after new “Walking Dead” episodes versus their bizarre strategy at times with the show this season. (The network also has ordered 16 more episodes of Kevin Smith’s alternative series “Comic Book Men.”)
As for “Mob Wives,” VH1 has opted to pick up a third season of one of its most-popular series — which has already been both spoofed and criticized by celebrities and the media. The show is routinely a strong performer on Sunday nights, and even though we don’t know the specific episode count of the order, the show should return to the air in early 2013.
Are you excited to see more of any of these shows? “Talking Dead” should return at some point in the fall alongside the flagship series.
