‘Saturday Night Live’ preview: Will Ferrell, Jason Sudeikis run in place

Will's making the move.

Will Ferrell is going to be returning to “Saturday Night Live” this weekend for his third hosting gig since leaving the show — and based on what we are seeing now, he is going to be just as silly as ever.

Accompanied by Jason Sudeikis in a new promo for the show, Ferrell runs in place, talks about getting punched in the face while he was asleep, and laughing about him suffering from short-term memory loss.

The challenge for Ferrell is that like any other “SNL” alum hosting the show, the expectations are inevitably going to be a little bit higher for him to tear the roof off the place. If he can only capture a little bit of the magic that Maya Rudolph brought to the show earlier this season in her return, “SNL” could be in for quite a night.

Usher is set to make this third appearance as musical guest later in the show, and we should have a new promo featuring him a little later in the week.
