‘Glee’ first look preview: Lady Gaga, Lindsay Lohan, and Nationals

Lindsay has a cameo.

It’s been a year in the making, but next week on “Glee” we are finally going to see New Direction head back to a place in which they know pretty well already — Nationals.

As for what is going to happen, that is being kept as tightly under wraps as you would expect — but the new promo for the double-episode next week does show off a few things that we have been expecting for some time:

1. Lindsay Lohan as a judge – Yes, this is probably getting blown way out of proportion considering how much she will actually be on screen. But there’s no questioning that Lohan is controversial, and even during filming there were rumors floating around the tabloids about whether or not she was late to set.

2. Music – Expect Lady Gaga’s “The Edge of Glory” to be one of the songs that New Directions performs in an effort to win Nationals — and for the sake of the seniors, you have to hope that they do.

3. Body-swapping – Before the competition even happens, the first hour is going to focus on Tina suffering a head injury, which causes all sorts of bizarre switcheroos involving some of the students around her. (You can find out more over at this link.)

Do you think this will finally be the year for Rachel Berry and the graduating class?
