Is Brittany S. Pearce ever going to graduate on “Glee“? While we have the answers to many key questions concerning the cast, the future of Heather Morris’ character remains one that is generating plenty of discussion online.
While we have already seen an album cover that certainly puts Brittany’s graduation plans in doubt, Morris herself is still staying coy about what is going to happen. In a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the actress cites (go figure) the character’s intelligence as the reason in which she could be held back at McKinley High for another year:
“We don’t know if Brittany is graduating or not … It’s been mentioned that she’s not smart and she’s flunking a lot of her classes so we just aren’t sure what her grades are like [or if they’re] enough for her to graduate.”
Really, the sad part of all this is that we have a feeling that the issue of Brittany’s graduation — which is really something that is rather serious — is going to play out in a comedic way. We also think it would be nice to see her graduate the same year as her girlfriend Santana, mostly because there should be more than one couple that is able to graduate at the end of the day.
Whenever Brittany does move on, the hope is that she is able to obtain some sort of closure — even if that closure comes courtesy of some one-liners that work their way into the story.
Should Brittany stick around at McKinley High for another year, or do you think she is better off saying her goodbyes and graduating?
