I like Scott Foley. He is a brilliant actor. But I do not like the character he portrays. Maybe it was the way he was introduced to the viewers, but blame that on the writers. Also, there is no chemistry between Scott Foley and Kerry Washington and the character of Jake has served his purpose. She used him. Just like she used Edison and Russell. They are all a temporary replacement for the one man that she truly loves. I guarantee there will be a lot more fans that will be done with the show if Jake continues into Season 5, then there would if he leaves by seasons end!

Shonda needs to take into consideration all of the fans that watch her show that pull for a character that has redeemable traits. I have been a huge Scandal fan from the beginning and have recruited so many fans for this show. If Jake is killed off I am done with this show. I agree with others in that Jake was one of the main reasons I watched. Olivia is becoming an unlikable character with her casual sex escapades, rantings, etc. She has always been so in control when handling clients. We loved Olivia because of her cool manner of handling her life and lives of others. She has thrown away the one man that could have saved her and if Shonda has thrown that character off the set I won’t be reserving Thursday night any more. I will miss what used to be my favorite show if Jake is gone. The other characters are really not worth the time. What makes fans watch a show is our fondness of characters that we want to pull for. If Jake is gone I really don’t have anyone to pull for anymore. Shame on you, Shonda!

Jake is not dead, unfortunately. Even so, season 4 was horrible. Olivia is all over the place. I almost wished she got killed off. She is unstable and annoying.

I sure hate to see Jake go, one of the best characters on the show, he has been no angel but I think he really fell in love with Olivia and he worked to rescue her only to have her come home and push him aside. I wish they would have Olivia and her father stop with the fast speaking speeches, no one could talk like that all the time, it would be tiring. I like the Vice-President, she is actually a redeeming person in the White House, I just hope they do not pollute her too.

I had the feeling all along that there was more to Russell than meets the eye. I don’t think they will kill off Rowan in a hurry since he was the only actor to win an award for the show.
Yes, I too am very disappointed in Jake’s death. I sometimes think the writers are getting themselves twisted in the plots that they are twisting for us.
