‘Silicon Valley’ and More with Jason Prager: Season 2, episode 1, baseball and Slurpee day

Silicon Valley -We’re doing something a little bit different when it comes to the CarterMatt Podcast over the weeks ahead. We, being Matt Carter and Jason Prager, decided that it could be fun to find another show to talk about in between “Better Call Saul” and “Hannibal.” Therefore, we decided on the silliness that is HBO’s “Silicon Valley,” a show that is both innovative and hilarious. We both enjoyed the first season greatly, so the opportunity was here for us to really dive in with both feet here.

Of course, we are doing an hour-long podcast about what is ultimately a thirty-minute TV show, so we find that this is going to be a very different sort of discussion than in the past. Hence, the name “Silicon Valley and More.” We’re going to discuss the episode, but then a variety of other topics that we find applicable for the week. This time around, it includes the burnout that comes with a TV letdown (like the “Better Call Saul” finale), whether or not we feel HBO is crying themselves to sleep over the “Game of Thrones” leak, and also Bring Your Own Slurpee Cup Day and whether or not there is anything of value at Ihop other than breakfast products.

Obviously, this podcast is probably not for you if you’re either not a fan of “Silicon Valley,” or if you are looking for a straightforward recap. This is mostly a fun discussion and a chance for us to vent about hot topics and news stories, TV or otherwise. Maybe it’s a good way to digest some headlines without having to read around the internet.

Since this is such an experimental podcast, we also want to hear from you! Let us know in the comments if there is anything in particular you want to see us discuss here, whether it be “Silicon Valley” or otherwise.
