After a pretty stellar round of performances on “Britain’s Got Talent” Monday (as evidenced by our performance review here), we found out who was going to be joining Ashleigh & Pudsey and Only Boys Aloud in the final on Saturday.
After a performance by The Wanted (who once again brought a power plant of energy for their new single “Chasing the Sun”), the results kicked off with the same format as always — the British public chose one act to advance, and the judges decided between the contestants with the second and third-highest vote totals.
With that … let’s get to it!
Britain’s choice – Jonathan & Charlotte. This choice was a given — they are not only the strongest act of the night, but they have to be the consensus favorite at the moment to win the whole series and become major stars after the fact.
The judges’ choice – We are really just surprised that Paige Turney and Kai & Natalie were the other two choices of the public, mostly because dance crew Four Corners were far more original and entertaining than either of them.
With that being said, Paige had a pretty rough night — so seeing Kai & Natalia go through was hardly a surprise at all.
Do you think that the right decisions were made, and what do you think about the makeup of the final so far?
