In reply to Beth. I think he's going to be in the crash but it would possibly be interesting if the girl in dc turns out to be some kind of physco and kidnapped him but I'm most likely going to stop watching the show if he leaves it won't be the same

Abby, I’m with you. I don’t think he’s cheating either. He wouldn’t have NOT shown up for a meeting at the White House because of a woman. His career is too important to him for that. I do think something happened to him, because there has been a lot of foreshadowing. Like when Mer told him she could live without him — she knew that now — but she didn’t want to. Then Amelia told Mer that she has no idea how it is to have the love of your life die. I don’t know… I think Shonda wants to get ratings back up — she doesn’t want the show to die after season 12 next year. MerDer have kind of staled, and she can’t break them up. That would cost the show too many fans. But I could be wrong. Wouldn’t be the first time.

Am just sick to my stomach that Derek may be cheating. I would rather his plane have crashed flying to DC.
