I would love to see Galavant return, it was a nice light hearted and upbeat series that brought something unique that overall deemed popular with viewers.
I think it should definitely be given a second season as it was treated as a mini mid season stop gap the first time around, Maybe the second season can help to solidify Galavant as it’s own franchise.
What have ABC got to lose? It was popular overall and Joshua Sasse is clearly a star in the making and is too gorgeous to be kept off tv. Galavant could be the show to really launch his star and ABC can take some credit for it.
Even if it is another 8 episode run back to back it would still keep the viewers happy who want to see loose ends wrapped up, the season finale actually did decent ratings numbers and overall for a mid season break filler show it did decent numbers and I think those numbers would stay solid as Galavant is a family show with both adults and children that can invest time to watch it and it appeals to both.
I say nothing to lose in giving Galavant a second run and then just go from there to see if it is worthwhile staying around.
It more than proved it was worthy of a follow up overall.

since i think im the only one who voted i think i should have final say… it comes back… hollywood reporter in an article that was predicting what shows were coming back predicted it’s return based on how much abc loved the show
