So many reveals, poor Wells,I really wanted him to return in season 2,but the real Dr Wells is dead.Now everyone knows Barry is the flash but Iris. I am guessing that at some point Thawne is going to jump into Eddies body. My understanding is when Barry and RF returned, Barry occupying the same space as his younger self the two became one and the speedforce was lost, 10yr old Barry had to grow up and become the flash all over again with the help of Thawne/Wells by the particle accelerator deliberate mishap.
