With us getting near the end of the 2011-12 TV season, and with that in mind we have some details worth sharing about two shows that have kept us on the edge of our seat for some time.
“Castle“ – With the season finale coming up on Monday night, you can pretty much expect there to be surprises — but also some frustrating moments since the show has to keep people interested for a season 5.
Judging from what executive producer Andrew W. Marlowe is telling TV Guide in a new interview, we should probably expect a major cliffhanger when it comes to one of two subjects — the murder of Beckett’s mother or whether or not she and Castle are finally going to get together:
“The way we’re ending this season, people will want to know what happens in the immediate aftermath.”
It’s also possible that both these issues could be without a resolution until the start of next season — after all, the show is introducing some new characters into the story of Beckett’s mother during the finale. Why just have these key players show up for one episode?
“Once Upon a Time“ – Over the next couple of episodes, the closest thing to full-on war we have seen in Storybrooke is going to erupt. The only problem? We still don’t know who is going to end up winning.
What we can promise is that we are going to see some familiar faces back in some shape or form. Not only will we see Emilie de Ravin’s Belle in at least one of the two worlds in the final two episodes of the season, but “True Blood” star Kristin Bauer van Straten is also going to be back for the first time since episode 2. We know that in the fairytale world she is the Evil Queen’s friend / enemy Maleficent, but what about Storybrooke? She is one of the few characters still shrouded in mystery at this point, we have to think that she has a role to play in both worlds.
What do you want to see happen on these shows? Stay tuned, as we’ll have more scoop leading up to the finales.
