‘Glee’: Possible spoilers about Dianna Agron, Damian McGinty’s future

Is Quinn going away?

So what is happening with the futures of a few select people on “Glee” moving forward? While it’s hard to say for sure since season 4 scripts have not been written just yet, but some recent comments hitting the web certainly suggest that things are going to be more than a little bit different for the show come this fall — including some major changes with the cast.

The first reason to speculate here comes courtesy of Jane Lynch, who told E! News recently that she may have very well shot her last scene with an actress whose character Quinn is heading to Yale — Dianna Agron:

“It caught me by surprise. It was kind of emotional doing my last scene with Dianna, and it really just caught me by surprise at how moving it was. She is just amazing and just a really nice person too. It was like saying goodbye to Dianna, which is a sad thing to do.”

While we are a bit surprised that Lynch would say something so explicitly, it makes sense that Agron would be off the show — after all, they cannot focus on too many characters that are all in some rather different places. However, a new tweet posted by Damian McGinty could also pose some interesting discussion points about what is happening with Rory:

“Last scenes in the choir room today with the guys. Super weird. Never seen so many tears in the one day!!”

Is this necessarily as much of an indictment on McGinty’s future as Lynch’s comments were on Agron? Not exactly — after all, it’s likely that Damian was really just talking about the entire group was just shooting their final scenes together in the choir room, and he was a part of it. The good news for the “Glee Project” co-champion is that his character is only a sophomore, so pending on how much the show focuses on McKinley High next season it is possible that we could see him around again in some capacity.

Unfortunately, the entire cast on the show remained pretty tight-lipped about season 4 plans while at a press event this week — but expect more details to come out in the coming weeks.

Who do you want to see back on the show next season?
