‘Real Housewives of Orange County’ review: Gretchen Rossi’s Vegas debut

How did Gretchen do?

It has been a talked-about story on “The Real Housewives of Orange County” pretty much all season, but on Tuesday night’s new episode it finally happened — we saw Gretchen Rossi perform “Fever” with the Pussycat Dolls in Las Vegas.

So how did Gretchen do? While she certainly exuded plenty of confidence onstage and some of her co-stars had a great time, reaction around the internet has been a bit mixed. Regardless, we will say this — we’re glad to just have someone on the show that produces storylines like this, mostly because it’s nice to have a bit of fun on a series that often manages to focus first and foremost on the drama above all else. Everyone surrounding Gretchen also managed to put some of their problems aside to watch her get on stage and have a good time.

In going back to drama, we also have to point out the other major moment of Tuesday night’s new episode — the revelation from Vicki Gunvalson’s daughter that she not only is married, but she tied the knot at a Vegas drive-thru wedding chapel. Understandably, Vicki was more than a little bit upset about the revelation, mostly because she felt as though she “failed” as a mother thanks to this happening. (Over time, though, we expect Vicki to feel a bit better about this — even if it is still painful.)

How do you think Gretchen did during her performance? You can check out her rendition of “Fever” below, and be sure to share your thoughts in the comment box below.
