Despite the show being reasonably successful, it looks like we are going to be saying goodbye to “Khloe & Lamar” after its second season — at least if some of the current rumors out there are true.
According to a new report from TMZ, Lamar Odom wants to move away from the world of reality TV to focus more on a basketball team, which may be a move based on two key issues going on in his life:
1. Odom struggled mightily following his trade the Dallas Mavericks, and had even briefly considered stepping away from the game after some tragedy in the offseason.
2. Lamar also is looking towards his future, and he realizes that featuring his life with Khloe Kardashian in such a prominent way may be seen as a distraction by future teams looking to recruit his services. Pending a last-second miracle in Big D, Lamar will be on the free agent market this summer.
With this being said, Khloe and Lamar will continue to make appearances on the flagship show “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” but this is far less demanding and should not get in the way of getting back in basketball condition.
“Khloe & Lamar” has been airing on E! Sunday night — stay tuned, and we’ll have more on this story if and when the Kardashians speak out on the subject.
