My biggest complaint here has been so far that they’ve made Zoe too similar to Ziva. Even gave her a name that starts with Z. Why is not necessary?? Give Tony someone completely different for a change. Someone that’s not going to insult the fans that love and miss Ziva. I might have refered to Zoe as Tony’s bed buddy but that’s just how she came off. They didn’t have to have her come into Tony’s place of work like that. It wasn’t cute or even funny and a lot of people reported this because kids could of been watching. Never once called Zoe a slut. Not ONCE. I even complimented “Marisol Nichols” and said she didn’t need the work done. She was pretty on her own. Go ahead and read into my comments as insults but that is not my intention. If Tony deserves a fresh start, it should be with someone that is fresh. Not another Ziva.

I have plenty of respect for Cote’s decision to leave but I’m holding out hope for “guest appearances” since she recently said she is open to coming back but it would be up to the show. If she flat out said she wouldn’t be returning, do you think I would still be commenting on these websites?? All this started out being about was seeing too much of Ziva in Zoe. Like many other commenters agreed with and how that could be a mistake for Tony and for the show. If Michael Weatherly did decide to leave, I’m sure you would quite watching since your main focus on the show seems to be about him. You seem to be more disappointed and frustrated every week when it comes to the lack of Tony in the episodes. I still try to watch for the whole team but in my opinion, along with many others, the show has gone down in quality. You don’t see that because you didn’t like Ziva. I’m also not a Bishop fan. We can agree that Gibbs tends to be the center and hero of the show but it’s been this way for years. He leads in the shows and the agents follow behind him. That’s how its always been. Anyways… hope you find your Tony centered eps ito your liking in the future and as for me, I will continue to hold out hope for a Ziva appearance and that they find someone worthy of Tony. you don’t have to agree with my comments for me to keep hoping for it.

Well I guess the difference in my bitching about the writing of my favorite character and your bitching about the writing of my favorite character is that my bitching is based on the writing of a character who has actually chosen to be on the show. Your constant bitching is based on the disappointment that your favorite left and ruined your fantasy love affair and disappeared your heroine from center stage. If MW were to quit the show I’d not only not watch the show anymore but I wouldn’t bother to post about the show. I’d accept his decision and move on from NCIS since I would no longer be that interested. But the difference is, I would accept the actor’s ability to know what’s best for him and I certainly wouldn’t linger on the idea that I knew better, or selfishly cry foul about his desire to move on when I can’t know the particulars of his life.

Cote strove to make the scenes as good as possible. Now theres no tension, they look like they are sleepwalking through the work.

Strings with no tension cant make music. Much of the viewing public has noticed that the music that was NCIS is now Muzak, or complete silence.

Ive literally been involved in a quarter century of contract deals, and the fact that they had not come to terms on a contract was itself an indication they had no deal. A contract doesnt become a contract until there is a signed acceptance. Until then, its an offer or a counter offer.

Anyone in any business who is approaching starting construction, or production without a contract signed and in place, is sloppy if they have no backup plan in place. Its really bad business practice. And perhaps Cote was the one being given verbal reassurances on some or another contract point that never came together? That she didnt give up in frustration? Bcontracts have many more components than just the pay.

And maybe if you stomp your feet and hold your breath they will give Tony more action packed episodes. The show is what it is now and it fails to make you happy. You have proven to only be happy if Tony is like he used to be in season 1 and 2. All I said is they could write some original for Tony. Someone a lot less like Ziva. As for Cote never coming back .. she said she’s open to guest appear and so is the show so you might be the one pouting and unhappy once again because you said you wouldnt watch Iif she came back.

Amazing coincidence. Sock much? And to answer your question – No, I’m not happy with the show but I still enjoy Weatherly, Perrette, and McCallum’s performances. As long as I choose to watch the show and Tony is marginalized as insignificant or the team joke, while Gibbs is the only one who gets exciting stories that allow his character to shine, with a heavy side of his new second in command McGee, getting whatever drama and excitement Gibbs doesn’t get, yes, I’ll complain and be unhappy about it.
