‘Teen Mom’ star Amber Portwood faces more trouble over rent

More bad news for Amber.

While one of the other stars of the “Teen Mom” franchise in Jenelle Evans seems to at least be starting to get her life together, the news is not so good when it comes to Amber Portwood.

According to a new report via TMZ, Amber is being ordered to pay a sum of $673 over the course of the next 30 days due to charges in conjunction with a suit filed against her by a rental company. Basically, it was alleged that Portwood was living in low-income subsidized housing through the government despite making hundreds of thousands of dollars thanks to the hit MTV series, and as a result of this she is going to have to pay back much of the money she actually should owe. The suit was filed while Portwood was in jail over the holidays following a probation violation, and she never ended up responding to the case in any reported capacity.

If this matter is not resolved, Amber (who is supposedly living with her grandparents as she is being monitored further by police) could end up facing even more legal action. For the time being, it’s already unclear just how much if it all she is able to film “Teen Mom” (which is going to end its four-season run on MTV next year), though she has at times expressed a desire to leave the show while also admitting that it’s her only real way to earn a salary for the time being.

As for when season 3 is set to premiere this summer, you can check out Amber alongside Catelynn Lowell, Maci Bookout, and Farrah Abraham beginning on July 5.

Do you think that Amber is going to be able to get her life on the right track over time?
