He said on GMA that the decision was made 2 days before. What about the pro that got bumped because he changed his mind last minute? What about the other responsibilities the pros have for bumpers and group pro dances. He doesn’t have to learn them? He gets a pass to focus on just his partner? That seems to be far too much favoritism for me to support him or his partner this season. Shame on him for being so selfish.

I am thrilled he will be back!!! I am looking forward to seeing him and Nastia dance! I do think this is going to be an extremely challenging season for Derek with doing both the Radio City Music show and DWTS and the weekly travel that will bring. In some ways I feel bad for Nastia because I don’t see how she can have the same comradery with the rest of the cast as the stars usually have when she won’t be practicing at the same place as the rest of the cast.
