Do you want a taste at what is coming up on “Glee” Tuesday night? In addition to the music preview that we posted on Saturday, we now have some videos designed to show off what is going to happen in “Choke” in the context of one character — Noah “Puck” Puckerman.
First things first, we know that the goal for Puck this episode is going to be trying to get himself to graduate — something that leads to a full-on study party with some of the other guys. (Eventually, a performance of “The Rain in Spain” comes out of this — we’re still not entirely sure why.)
Anyhow, you can see Harry Shum Jr. (Mike) and Cory Monteith (Finn) each discuss filming the scene and the performance below. Based on what we are hearing, Puck’s status beyond this season at McKinley is going to be resolved sooner rather than later, so don’t worry about this getting pushed off until the last minute.
Meanwhile, Puck will also be dealing with another problem coming completely out of nowhere — his father re-entering his life, and asking for money from his son. What kind of dad does this? We don’t know, but we certainly expect it to serve as a distraction to what is going on when it comes to the guy’s education. (We know Puck’s pool-cleaning business is pretty successful — but just how successful can you be when it only serves the pools in Lima, Ohio?)
Finally, we are going to see an exciting performance from Puck during this episode in “School’s Out” — one that certainly makes us wonder whether or not he is just considering getting away from school entirely. After all, it does seem interesting that every single person at McKinley High would graduate — though also turning Puck into a dropout would be somewhat predictable considering some of the other character choices made thus far.
What do you think we are going to see happen with the character?
