For this Saturday edition of “Real Housewives” notes, we are focusing entirely on the season that is currently in the early stages of filming “Beverly Hills” — after all, there are a couple of things worth talking about.
Brandi’s officially a full-time star – While we’ve known for quite some time that Brandi Glanville was going to be returning to Beverly Hills for season 3, there was still one question — is she going to be a full-time star? Now, we know the official answer to that is “yes.”
A source from Bravo confirmed to Gossip Cop this week that Glanville — who was a lightning rod for drama during season 2 courtesy of her spats with Kyle Richards and Taylor Armstrong — has been promoted to a series regular for all of this coming season. She has also emerged as a good friend to Lisa Vanderpump, which is probably much-appreciated considering the current state of Lisa’s relationship to her co-star Adrienne Maloof.
From our standpoint, the more entertainment we have coming courtesy of Brandi, the better — and we couldn’t be happier about this.
Is Yolanda officially on board? – While we have official news now about Brandi, the same cannot be said just yet about Yolanda Hadid. As a matter of fact, it’s currently unclear just when we will know whether or not she is a cast member for season 3, or just on board for a trial run.
According to E! News, David Foster’s wife (who was first famous courtesy of a modeling career) was spotted out to dinner with the “Housewives” at Vanderpump’s Villa Blanca — however, there are also reports that she signed a release form upon entering the restaurant (which suggests that she has not signed any sort of full-time contract just yet).
What is likely happening here is that the show is seeing how Yolanda fits in the group, and will determine how integral she is to this season’s story accordingly.
Season 3 of “Beverly Hills” is set to premiere this coming fall — and we will have more details throughout the filming process.
