Do you want to see Melissa Gorga get romantic with a new song? For almost as long as the “Real Housewives” have been around (or at least until “Atlanta” started up), music has played a larger role on this show than you would think. While Kandi Burruss is the only star of the franchise with an actual career in music, Kim Zolciak and Melissa Gorga are two of the noteworthy women who have went on to try and have a career of their own in the industry.
Following the success of “On Display” on last season of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey,” Gorga is going to be getting set to take to her in-house (!) recording studio again this week to record her next track — a love song specifically for her husband Joe. We’re not sure how this is sound just yet, but we hope it’s better than Kim’s random foray into country with “Love Me First” — which was first unveiled earlier this year.
On a less-musical note, Teresa Giudice will be still dealing with a major crisis of her own this week as she tries to figure something out — reconciling being famous with protecting your children. How do you keep four young girls from seeing what is in the tabloids? This is something that Teresa talks with her husband Joe about, and we know that this is something that she still struggles with to this day. (Of course, the one true-fire way to protect them from this sort of thing is by getting off TV altogether — but we don’t think this is going to happen anytime soon.) We saw a major scene involving this last week, and this sort of tension from Teresa will manifest itself in different ways the rest of the season.
On this week’s episode, Teresa’s whirlwind emotions are actually going to lead to Melissa trying to make a sacrifice in order to help some of her other “Housewives” get by a little bit easier. Is this really a great idea, though, or just a quick fix? That’s what is really to be seen.
Check back Sunday night for a full review of the episode, including some of the most-dramatic moments.
