1. I love the idea od Red being Elizabeth's father. I mean - how many crime tv shows are there in which the main characters are a father and a daughter to each other? Come on, give it to me. Personally, I'm sick of all those will-they-or-won't-they couple-themed shows. It's what we've been watching for at least last two decades.

2. My theory: the real Raymond Reddington is dead and the one we see is the man who is Lizzie's father. He had a plastic surgery (we know he underwent at least one) and stole the real Reddington's identity. In the first episode Red actually said "everything you know about me is a lie". So what if "everything" was literal? And one of the main themes of the show is identity - who we are, why we do what we do, are we predisposed to do some things or do we become who we are, so this type of storyline matches perfectly.

Honestly, I rather have Red connected in some way to her father and have a whole different man be her father. I can see him being a family friend of hers when she was younger and have her mother and father turn against him on the night of the fire and then abandoning him and their daughter and either having Lizzie trying to get Red out of the fire or vice versa. With this show, nothing is what it seems on the service.
