‘Saturday Night Live’ brings back Will Ferrell, Usher for May 12 show

This is setting up to be quite a show.

Do you miss the days of Will Ferrell on “Saturday Night Live“? If so, get ready for a massive blast from the past.

NBC announced this week that Ferrell — who was on the show from 1995 until 2002 as a cast member — will be back May 12 to host the show for the third time since his exit. Meanwhile, Usher will also be making his third performance as a musical guest, and is likely going to perform “Scream” off of his new album hitting stores on June 12.

This show will follow the one with Eli Manning and Rihanna airing on May 5; the season finale of “SNL” is going to be on May 19, but at the moment NBC has yet to comment on who could be stepping into the role of host. Based on last year’s winning show with Justin Timberlake, though, it’s fair to say to expect something big as Lorne Michaels looks to give viewers something to remember leading into the lengthy summer hiatus.

Who do you want to host the finale? We want to know what you think below! You can also check out Ferrell’s winning impression of George W. Bush from a classic sketch below.
