Based on what we are seeing from next week’s new episode of “Grey’s Anatomy,” you should probably expect there to be more than a little bit of stress from some of Seattle Grace’s top residents. After all, by the end of this episode we could find out who passed the boards — and who didn’t.
Based on the episode title alone (“Let the Bad Times Roll”), it looks like we could be in for some major trouble. Alex is up a creek without a paddle after making a sacrifice that caused him to miss his interview, and based on what Webber is told it looks like one of the doctors who did make it in for an interview is not going to end up passing.
There are only three episodes left this season, but there is still plenty that is set to happen. Not only are we going to find out the board results, but this is inevitably going to lead to some doctors deciding that they want to take their services somewhere other than Seattle Grace. In addition to some big decisions, the season finale May 17 is set to feature a catastrophe on par with what we have seen from some past finales (i.e. the shooting), and there is no guarantee that everyone is going to come out of this alive. (Considering all of the contract negotiations going on behind the scenes, this is actually a prime opportunity for someone to go out in a blaze of glory if they already know they are not returning to the show.)
Who do you think is at the most risk of failing the boards?
