In case you have not heard already, Adam Lambert is rocking out “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” tonight with a concert featuring some of the songs from his sophomore release “Trespassing.”
While there are not full videos available for the entire concert just yet, here is what we can tell you: Adam performed five songs over the course of the concert in new single “Never Close Our Eyes,” “Trespassing,” “Broken English,” “Naked Love,” and “Cuckoo.” Surprisingly, he did not perform his first single “Better Than I Know Myself.”
Update following the broadcast: Adam performed “Eyes” on the show, and had the luxury of working with a full band that captured the uptempo feel of the song perfectly. Overall, Adam is showing a little bit more of an all-black look with his performances in conjunction with “Trespassing” compared to the colors of “For Your Entertainment,” but he’s still kept some of the eyeliner fans came to know and love while his performance quality and stage presence remain top-notch.
For a debut TV performance of the song, Adam really delivered on a great opportunity to show off the track in front of both devoted fans and hopefully some new people who will request it on the radio moving forward.
We were told that there were going to be two performances during the show, but what happened instead was that a “bonus performance” is going to be uploaded to Kimmel’s offiical site at some point overnight. (We’ll have videos for you in the morning.)
What did you think about Adam’s performance? “Trespassing” hits stores on May 15. (Update 9:05 a.m. — check out the videos of “NCOE” along with the title track from Adam’s album below!)
