Love her or hate her, but Aubrey O’Day has been shown time and time again to be one of the smartest strategic players on “The Celebrity Apprentice,” knowing what to say and when is the right time to say it in order to keep herself from getting fired.
Now, Aubrey is showing off some of that savvy again by releasing her new single right in the middle of her time on the show. The song is entitled “Wrecking Ball,” and it has a rather unique connection to “American Idol” in that season 10 alum Pia Toscano has a writing credit. It’s a pretty catchy song, and if it does get some attention from top 40 radio we could see Aubrey having a comeback post-Danity Kane.
As for Donald Trump’s reality show, Aubrey is only one of seven remaining contestants on the show, and superficially she does seem like one of the threats to at least last for a few more weeks. In you haven’t seen Aubrey’s interview on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” from earlier this week yet, you can also watch it below as she talks a bit about why she comes across as so polarizing, some of her aspirations before starting up a career in music, and also just how she feels about Arsenio Hall now the two are not squaring off in the boardroom. (The answer may surprise you.)
Check back on Saturday, as we will have a full preview of Sunday night’s new episode along with some analysis of who we think could be in danger in the boardroom.
