‘American Idol’ Queen spoilers: Jessica Sanchez, Joshua Ledet, and more

The songs are revealed!

What are the top 6 going to be performing on “American Idol” Wednesday night? Bandleader Ray Chew and the show have been careful to hand out the details a few hours before every show, and they have done so yet again this week.

Check out the full list below, and do not read on if you want to remain surprised.

Queen songs

“The Show Must Go On”
“Fat Bottomed Girls”
“Bohemian Rhapsody”
“Save Me”
“Crazy Little Thing Called Love”
“I Want It All”

Contestant’s Choice

“Dance With My Father” by Luther Vandross
“The Climb” by Miley Cyrus
“Ready For Love” by  India Arie
“Bold as Love” by Jimi Hendrix
A mystery song that suggests to us Dave Matthews Band
“Tattoos on this Town” by Jason Aldean

Overall, we admit to being a little disappointed with both lists, mostly because they go beyond predictable to being just plain dull. (We like our Queen predictions better.) We’re not really excited about hearing “Crazy Little Thing Called Love,” and we also think the show is missing out by having no one perform “Who Wants to Love Forever” or “Under Pressure.” We are totally predicting either Jessica Sanchez or Elise Testone for “Bohemian Rhapsody,” which is easily the boldest choice on this list.

As for the original songs, how many times do we need to really hear “Dance With My Father” and “The Climb” on reality shows? Didn’t Jermaine Jones already sing one of them? While we love the Hendrix choice, the fact that Hollie Cavanagh has auditioned to the climb makes it just as uneventful of a song choice (if she is singing it) as Phillip Phillips singing “Superstition” earlier in the live rounds.

Who do you expect to blow the top six out of the water?
