Last week on “Dancing with the Stars,” Jaleel White found himself in a rather precarious position — going from being the favorite during the first week of the show to being someone who was on the cusp of going home. As a matter of fact, the only thing that really saved him was Gavin DeGraw’s lack of overall coordination.
The good news for Jaleel this time? He didn’t have to wait so long to find out his fate. Within the first fifteen minutes of the results show Tuesday night, he learned that he was safe and would live to dance for another week with Kym Johnson.
However, not everyone else would be so lucky. For the second time in three weeks, we ended up seeing Roshon Fegan in the bottom three, and he was up against someone with the lowest scores of the night in Gladys Knight. Unfortunately for Gladys, this performance was going to be trouble from the get-go. She was up against one of the best performers in the entire competition, and someone who may have been safe had he performed better during his Motown Week routine.
The irony here? We said in our rankings over the weekend that there was no way Gladys would get sent home during Motown Week — yet, she ended up being the shown the door just one day after the genre of music was featured so heavily on the show.
Do you think that America (and then the judges) made the right decision in sending Gladys home?
