cbs showed their hand. the other night they had an add that sunday night is the series finale. they are doing a jedi mind trick on everybody. so carter matt please respond. are you in the the trick?

I think it’s time the show got cancelled. The pilot season was hands down the best though many would argue that the forensics weren’t as “sophisticated” as portrayed in subsequent seasons. The screenplay was smart and fluid and the chemistry between original cast members was incredible as they’ve shown great team dynamics that quite a few people associate with at the workplace. The show used to be my favorite up till Petersen and Dourdan left the show. It made more sense to have ended the show back then, all the whole maintaining peak ratings and a mystery around the lives of the original characters. I don’t think all the new characters they’ve introduced have favorably served the show and the writers’ creativity is wearing thin. I hope this is the last season as it used to be a wonderful show a decade ago. I think the best way out would be for Nick to leave out of burnout, Sara to make up with her ex and return to wherever he is, the assistant corner to be killed off and Greg to switch to another job. Whatever happens to the rest of the characters is of no consequence.
